KYOTO, Japan (Hattori Hanzo) -- After a very eventful night, the BJET contamination has finally been brought to a halt.

Thanks to the invaluable help of Vietnam in delivering batches of antidote and fresh sources of desalinated water, the situation was under control around 3:00 AM last night (European time), and has been stable ever since. Several Japanese farmers have already returned to their homes.

Eyewitnesses give us reports of rejoicing Asian citizens all over the continent. The news spread fast, and it was almost possible to hear the intercontinential sigh of relief that was heaved around 4:00 AM. Even though several pessimists (generally calling themselves realists) have expressed doubt with regard to the seemingly stable situtation, the general opinion is that of a glorious victory.

In China, the situation has also been under control for several hours and running. Chinese and Japanese governments have shown a tremendous ability for cooperation. Economists expect that this might develop in further joint ventures.

The world rejoices - BJET has been defeated!
